I read a book so you didn't have to, vol 3: Y BOTHER?

I will preface this by saying that I follow Meredith on Twitter (or Xitter or X or whatever the fuck Elonor is calling it now…) and her twitter feed seems to take the format of freeform, stream-of-consciousness semi-poetry that hints at an overarching narrative that frequently simply presents itself without context or explanation.

This book is much like that. It is purposefully and calculatedly unstructured, but leans heavily on repetition and circular themes. There is again, hints at an overarching narrative, lingering just outside the fringes of scrutability. Your brain wants to believe that there is some information here to be gleaned and pieced together.

Honestly, I’m reminded in spirit of a Reddit community in a not dissimilar, albeit more esoteric, vein: Fifth World Poetry, which itself is kind of impossible to explain by itself without delving into the Classical Four World Model of civilization and how it figures into this particular Reddit cosmology.

If your looking for an obscure coffee table book that will have your guests puzzling over what you’ve been getting into lately, this would definitely raise some eyebrows.

The curious can find it available on Amazon: Link
