NFTs

I have no plans to issue NFTs of any of my work. If you encounter NFTs of my works on the internet, rest-assured that they are fraudulent.

While I have no qualms with digital and “analog” artists attempting to make some living off their work in the digital realm, NFTs are entirely too problematic in their current form in terms of art theft and fraudulently-minted NFTs. I prefer not to have my patrons guessing whether or not a particular NTF of my work is legitimately-minted, so its my policy not to mint any so there is no chance for confusion. If you see one, you can be sure its fraudulent.

I have covered my numerous other objections to the current incarnation of NFTs in at least a couple blog posts, so those who are so inclined can read further there.

As with most things, I’ll never say never…there may come a time when those markets have been sufficiently cleaned up and reigned in that I will feel comfortable serving those collectors, but until you see this policy change here on this site, you can safely assume that we have not reached that point.
