Doom in Bloom at the Smalter Gallery and Dangerous Lullabies 8, opening night

Friday night was the opening nights for Doom in Bloom at the Smalter Gallery (Kansas City), as well as Dangerous Lullabies 8 at the Dole Manor (Chicago). I was not able to personally attend the Chicago show opening because I was already committed to The Smalter Gallery opening and its just not possible for me to be in two cities on the same evening. However, a couple of patrons from the Kansas City area just happened to be in the Chicago area that evening and sent me a photo of my piece at the event.

The Smalter Gallery event had a decent turnout for the opening evening. I had a fascinating conversation with a forensic chemist for like 45 minutes on and off, and probably drank slightly more than I should have. I ended up at a local dive eatery down the street to eat something to soak up the wine before I could even think about driving anywhere.
