In case you missed it, last night was the launch party for vol 19 of Kansas City Voices literary magazine. I was there because they had selected one of the drawings I had put forward for publication in this issue. I was also among the contributors who were invited to speak briefly on their contribution to the issue.

Its been a busy season, with prep for three events, two Halloween costumes, at least four paintings, packing, shipping, dropping off, one Halloween party, all while still battling a severe depressive episode.
Read MoreFriday night was the opening nights for Doom in Bloom at the Smalter Gallery (Kansas City), as well as Dangerous Lullabies 8 at the Dole Manor (Chicago). I was not able to personally attend the Chicago show opening because I was already committed to The Smalter Gallery opening and its just not possible for me to be in two cities on the same evening.
